Salesdock as a universal remote control for every market and supplier

"Moving others forward also helps me personally to move forward," this is what Erik Shamujev, owner of Zelfstandige Adviseurs, stands for. Every day he builds a better life, for himself, but most importantly for his organisation. He does not see work as an obligation to support yourself, but rather as an opportunity. "Because of the many opportunities we have in the Netherlands, you are able to give yourself the very best," is one of Erik's beautiful insights. He also imparts this philosophy to his organisation. Through sales partners, he came into contact with Salesdock, exactly at a time when many partners themselves started working with Salesdock. Partly thanks to Salesdock's 'plug-and-play' solution, he can focus on process optimisation and growth of his organisation even more. His unique approach and vision inspired us to visit him ourselves.

Erik is of Armenian descent and grew up in an environment where work is seen as an opportunity to provide yourself the best. He sees the Netherlands as a country that gives you opportunities. This mentality is what makes Erik who he is and what he strives for with Zelfstandige Adviseurs. He learned that you have to work hard so opportunities arise everywhere and that with the right attitude you will get there. Thus, he also saw an opportunity in Salesdock, although he was sceptical at first: "I did not believe I would ever understand the technical aspects, but now I manage my own Salesdock environment myself, from A to Z," he adds, laughing.

No technical experience required
Erik's own take on it was partly thanks to working closely with Salesdock. "Tim helped every time something didn't go right. He made it possible for us to start using it, even though we didn't employ an ICT person." Erik credits that commitment and the fact that he now has all his telephone salespeople up and running in no time. These days, they do employ an ICT person, so Erik can throw himself fully into what he does best: optimising and organising processes.
Universal remote control
That the energy market is always in flux is something they know all too well at Zelfstandige Adviseurs. Especially the current times, where energy prices are rising and the energy transition dominates the news every day, is seen as an opportunity by Erik and his team. The shift to Salesdock helps to make it possible not to depend solely on the energy market and to be scalable. "We can manage our own data and turn our own propositions on or off whenever we want," Erik says. He mentions the advantage that any (energy) supplier can easily connect to their Salesdock environment: "Actually, Salesdock is like a universal remote control; it fits on any TV!"

Multifunctional connection
That Salesdock 'fits on every TV' offers several opportunities for Erik and his team. For instance, Erik has also come into contact with new partners through the Salesdock ecosystem, as a result of which they now also offer solar panels through Salesdock. Besides scaling and market expansion, this connecting factor of Salesdock is also an opportunity for Zelfstandige Adviseurs. For example, Erik now has collaborations in place that he would not have otherwise envisaged. He calls Salesdock multifunctional and user-friendly: "You don't have the burden of building your own software package, but you take the joy of a 'plug-and-play system'. I always say: you should outsource what you are less good at, so you can focus on the things you are good at!"
